JM Tree Services is a small tree surgery firm based near Wigton in north Cumbria. The firm was set up in 2013 and since then has grown significantly.

The firm will undertake any size of job, large or small, and our aim is to ensure that you are completely satisfied with the finished result. We are also prepared to travel, having worked as far afield as South Cumbria, Hexham and near Durham.

We offer a wide range of services and have all the relevant qualifications, both NPTC and ABA, and insurances to undertake the jobs we do.

Tree Surgery and Hedge Maintenance

Logs

We are now able to supply seasoned hardwood logs. These are sourced from our tree surgery work and from thinnings from a 32 acre woodland which we manage.

Woodland Management

We are responsible for managing a 32 acre woodland. This is a mixed woodland consisting of birch and oak with some alder and sycamore and an area of Sitka spruce.

Wood Chip

All of the smaller branches that arise from our tree surgery work that are too small for logs are chipped. These wood chippings can be used for mulch, paths or animal bedding.

Chipper Hire

If you have wood, up to 6 inches in diameter, which you would like to be chipped, please contact us for a quote for chipper hire.
